Danny believes players develop best when they are given the freedom to create, compete, and enjoy the game. His coaching encourages confidence, individual expression, and a genuine love for having the ball at their feet.
WHY I COACH
THE PLAYERS BEHIND THE SUCCESS
Danny measures his success through the players who have trusted him throughout his career. Every championship, tournament victory, and team milestone has been made possible by players who committed themselves to the game and to one another.
For Danny, the greatest accomplishment is watching those players continue in soccer, become leaders, return as coaches, and help develop the next generation of Fire FC athletes.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE
BUILT THROUGH THE GAME
Danny graduated from and played soccer for Pine View High School. He continued developing his game with Sparta, Neusport, and the local Dixie Viper Soccer Club.
His love for soccer was shaped by coaches Kimball Leavitt, Lance Jackson, and Juan Vargas, along with Miguel Perez, whom Danny considers a second father. Their influence helped build the passion for the game that Danny now shares with his own players.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
MORE THAN TWO DECADES
Danny has coached soccer for more than 20 years and has been part of Fire FC since the beginning of his coaching career. He has also coached at Dixie High School for nearly 19 seasons.
Throughout his career, Danny has coached the 1995/96 Boys, 1998 Boys, 2000/01 Boys, 2002 Boys, 2003/04 Boys, 2006 Boys, 2008 Boys, and 2009 Boys. He currently coaches Fire FC's U13 Girls and U14 Boys.

Danny is especially proud of the former players who have continued serving the game as coaches, including Checo, Mikey, Scout, Alex, Mario, AJ, Rowen, Edni, Berto, Tono, Chano, Danny, Bridger H., Walker, Bridger W., and Ethan.
He also recognizes the FireStorm Academy player-trainers who have helped develop younger Fire FC athletes: Boone, Mason, Zack, Kasen, Pablo, Jones, Artyom, Beto, Sammy, Nolan, Daecen, Todd, Jairo, Weston, and Macey.
These players, coaches, and trainers are at the center of Danny's success and remain an important part of the continued growth of Fire FC.
BEYOND THE FIELD

Danny's favorite food is tacos, and his favorite way to spend time away from the field is reading anything related to history. His favorite player is Ronaldo Nazário, known throughout the soccer world as R9, “O Fenômeno.”
