COACHING PHILOSOPHY
HOW I LEAD
Zac's goal is to help each athlete develop as a soccer player while placing equal importance on who they become as a person. He wants his players to leave the game prepared for the opportunities ahead, both on the field and in life.
WHY I COACH
MORE THAN THE GAME
For Zac, the most meaningful measure of success is seeing players earn opportunities to continue competing at a higher level. Championships matter, but the lasting impact of helping athletes grow and take their next step is what drives his work.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE
BUILT THROUGH THE GAME
A Southern Utah native, Zac grew up playing soccer in St. George. He played four years of varsity soccer at Dixie High School and participated in Utah's Olympic Development Program for three years. Zac continued his playing career at Dixie State University, now Utah Tech University, where he competed for four seasons.
COACHING EXPERIENCE
DEVELOPING THE NEXT GENERATION
After completing his collegiate playing career, Zac began coaching with the Snow Canyon High School boys soccer program and United FC. He spent 12 years on the Snow Canyon coaching staff, helping the program win multiple region championships, finish as the state runner-up, and reach the state semifinals on two additional occasions. Throughout his club coaching career, he has also helped teams capture multiple tournament championships.
